As the weather gets less inviting, I am willing to spend more time at the computer again. Have not yet reviewed my blog entries from last spring for To Dos. What  sticks out in my mind?

Recovering from a computer failure is more than  just finding files, but also the environment to understand them (And cds become unreadable). I have been grateful for every paper report generated. Anybody have a Mac with reunion? Waiting for the pro to be released with an m1 chip.

I spent time populating family search with records. I have learned that stuff on the web can change/dissappear.  I should  copy these records out to somewhere I control.

I spent time searching the web to prove people were dead. I do not like the gramps sources document to pull the information back out. (Have not tried the variant someone announced this summer.)
Also desire a matrix with people/events and level of proof.

How does the blogger app not have lists? (cool started draft on phone and added bullets on computer)

 Configuration trivia Creating a Deepseek account was more challenging than I expected. They had a banner saying  Due to large-scale malicious attacks on DeepSeek's services, registration may be busy. Please wait and try again. Registered users can log in normally. Thank you for your understanding and support. The process was typical. Give it an email and a freshly generated password, click on I read stuff, get a validation code in the email...   I started with gmail. I looked in inbox and spam. It took awhile. When I finally used it, it had timed out. So ok , lets try aol. ... digitizing dad's slides and old home movies

Around Thanksgiving 2023 there was a slew of advertising for weeks. One of the things on TV was a discount for LegacyBox. I have an assortment of momentos from my folks and myself, that I have yet to make easily sharable or to help tell a story. (In addition I have been attempting to help my uncle organize his google pictures with tags and captions and share them. The multiple cloud issue is something I have yet to research.)  In googling LegacyBox I came across Everpresent in Highland Park, NJ. I like that I did not have to mail stuff. Everpresent I had a fine phone conversation with Hillary at Everpresent.com about my best guess about the slides and movies at dad's house. She sent me an estimate for smaller numbers and a bulk discount, USB.... During the conversation she mentioned that thier processing is done in Massachusetts and they have trucks pick up from partners and customers.
